- Indian railways break journey rules say that Passenger with single travel ticket of above 500 kms can break journey but after 500 kms.

- For getting a connecting train, if passenger detrain en route, it is not considered as break journey.

- Ticket needed to be endorsed which include date, station code and station master signature.
